Joaquín Torres-García

This catalogue, published by Ediciones El Viso and translated by AiT, accompanied the retrospective of Uruguayan artist Joaquín Torres-García that opened at Fundación Telefónica and later travelled to the Museo Picasso, Málaga. The exhibited works and texts revealed the individuality of an artist who defies classification, shedding new light on a pictorial oeuvre that ranges from his early works in Barcelona in the late 19th century to his final creations made in Montevideo in 1949.
